Pay Check

Pay Check for the ANMF Victoria Award

The ANMF (Vic Branch) Enterprise Agreement 2024–28 covers nurses and midwives at Victorian public health services. It includes annual wage increases, shift loadings, weekend penalties, and overtime provisions that differ from the NSW equivalent.

What Shift It handles

The complexity behind the ANMF Victoria Award.

Shift It reads the award so you don't have to. Here's what it accounts for.

Penalty rates

Every shift is split at rate-change boundaries — 10pm, midnight, weekends, public holidays — so each hour is rated at exactly the right loading.

Overtime

Ordinary hours thresholds are tracked across the full pay cycle. Whether overtime is calculated daily, weekly, or across an averaging period, Shift It handles it correctly.

Payslip comparison

Enter the gross on your payslip. Shift It shows whether it matches your calculated entitlement — and if not, exactly how much is missing.

Common questions

ANMF Victoria Award pay questions, answered.

Things workers actually search for — with straight answers.

How do the annual wage increases work across the 2024–28 agreement?

Staged percentage increases are applied on specific commencement dates across the four-year agreement.1 Shift It updates base rates at each step change.

Is overtime paid if my shift runs over the rostered end time?

Yes. Overruns beyond ordinary hours are paid at 150% for the first two hours and 200% thereafter. Overruns on shifts already attracting penalty rates are paid at the higher of the two applicable rates.1
