Who does the Health Professionals Award cover?

Allied health professionals (physio, OT, speech, psychology, radiography, sonography, pathology), pharmacists outside community pharmacy, medical practice support staff (receptionists, practice managers), and other clinical support roles.1

What are the weekend and public holiday rates?

Saturday: 150% of the minimum hourly rate. Sunday: 200%. Public holidays: 250%, with a substitute day if the holiday lands on a rostered day off.1

How does on-call work for allied health professionals?

Allied health professionals rostered on-call receive a per-hour on-call allowance. Recalls attract a minimum engagement at the applicable overtime rate. The allowance is separate from any recall payments.1
